Raspberry Fudge Brownies

Seriously, these are some of the BEST brownies I have ever made!!

This recipe came from Giada De Laurentiis on Food Network. I was looking for a dessert to make for Jon’s friends that would be chocolaty, gooey and easy. Let me tell you, these brownies are all the above…and more! No one (including myself) could stop eating them…which is why I am wearing roomy sweats today!

Raspberry Fudge Brownies with Almonds and Chocolate Drizzle

Ingredients:

1 Box Brownie Mix

2/3 Cup Raspberry Jam

3 Eggs

1/2 Cup Canola Oil

1/4 Cup Water

1 Cup White Chocolate Chips (melted)

1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips (melted)

1/2 Cup Chopped Salted Almonds

Tasty Tuesday – Kahlua Brownies w/ Kahlua Coffee Glaze

Yum, right?

I originally saw Irish Cream brownies and was planning on making them for the upcoming holiday. However, the morning I came downstairs to make them I realized we had zero Bailey’s. I’m not quite sure why I assumed we would have it, but I was disappointed to be in a baking mode  and not to have my ingredients.

Thanks to good problem solving (something I use quite often when I’m baking with my pjs on and don’t want to leave my house!) I thought Kahlua could make a good substitute.

These brownies are a little bit different with quite the PUNCH of Kahlua.  The coffee flavor is very mild. Feel free to change the proportions in the glaze if you’d like the coffee to be more of a star:)
